Introduction to psychological processes and the research methods used to investigate them. Study three topics in - perception, learning, memory, cognition, intelligence and behavioural genetics and motivation. Introduction to descriptive and basic inferential statistics within the context of experimental, differential, and relational design and analysis. Statistical procedures discussed include - measures of central tendency and variability, estimators, the t-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression, the chi-square test. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).
