Introduction
This course focuses on the use, management, application and exploitation of computing and communications-based technologies that make up the so-called information superhighway and provides the knowledge and skills to use these technologies to facilitate or enable business processes - in particular those processes involving local, regional and global information exchange between individuals, and within and between groups or organisations.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor degree in business, commerce, economics or other appropriate field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution, or equivalent qualification.

Specific Requirements
As far as possible this course will be supported electronically with each student required to have access to a home or office personal computer with connections to the Internet.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability
The course commences in February of each year and is of one years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study. Students may incur a cost for personal Internet access.
