Introduction
This course is designed for graduates from fields other than business, commerce, economics, computing or related areas intending to develop expertise in computing in a commercial environment.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution in a field other than business, commerce, economics or computing, or equivalent qualification. A limited number of applicants who do not possess a recognised degree or equivalent but whose post secondary education or training and work experience indicates that they will benefit from this course and contribute effectively may be admitted. Applicants in this category may be required to attend an interview and should complete the Graduate ManagementAdmissions Test (GMAT).

Specific Requirements
Those students who wish to proceeed to further graduate study in business upon completion of this course are required to complete a bridging course comprising core units of the Graduate Diploma in Business.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
