Introduction

This minor provides an understanding of a range of heritage issues relevant to the study of the built environment. These include the history of heritage as a concept, the policies of representation of heritage, and the role of institutions such as art galleries, libraries, museums, the media and the education system in producing and disseminating national heritage.
