BSc(Hons)(Curtin)

Introduction

The aim of this course is to enable students to extend their knowledge of current academic research methodology as it is applied to the field of podiatry and to demonstrate this through the conduct of a supervised research project and preparation of an honours dissertation.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Refer to Admissions into Honours Degree Programs and Regulations for Honours Degree in the General Information section of the Curtin Courses Handbook. Only students with outstanding performance in undergraduate study will be considered for entry to the honours program. Students intending to apply for entry must have achieved a minimum course weighted average of at least 65 per cent or higher, although some courses require at least 70 per cent or higher. Candidates should inform the Course Coordinator of an intention to apply for entry to the honours program prior to or immediately after the conclusion of undergraduate study.

Duration and Availability

This honours course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
