Syllabus: | In this unit, students will learn important foundational mathematical skills, and be introduced to key functions that arise in problems in science, engineering and business-related fields. This unit covers the properties, manipulations and solutions of algebraic expressions, as well as polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions. Students will also be introduced to trigonometry and its use in the solution of problems involving right angle and acute triangles. This unit is designed for those students who have studied Mathematics 2C/D, Mathematics Applications or equivalent. |
