Syllabus: | The unit is on the analysis of stresses in structural elements for different types of actions. It contains stresses for flexure, shear and torsional actions in solid and thin walled sections, stresses for unsymmetrical bending, combinations and transformation of stresses, stress and strain tensors and failure analysis. |
