EN-UNIRDY v.1 UniReady Enabling Program
This course is not available to International Onshore Students on Student Visas
Course Overview
UniReady will enable students to matriculate into Curtin (and other universities). The program incorporates a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness that caters to students with a wide range of educational backgrounds, ages and experiences. This program is flexible enough to allow students to complete one, some or all of the units in the course depending on credit for recognised learning.
Additional Course Expenses
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks and other essential study materials.
Course Entry and Completion Details
Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens and Australian Permanent Residents. The course is available fully online via flexible delivery modes which include live web conferencing support sessions. On application, students are required to consult with the course or unit coordinator to determine eligibility and a career pathway.
Credit for Recognised Learning
Applications for credit towards a course are assessed on an individual basis. Credit reduces the amount of learning required to complete the course and may be granted for formal education qualifications, non-formal learning from non-award programs of study and informal learning through work experiences. Further information can be found at http://futurestudents.curtin.edu.au.
Applicants cannot receive credit for recognised learning for completed bridging units when transferring to award courses.
Course Entry/Completion Note
Applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Upon completion of the course, an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) will be generated to determine eligibility to continue onto degree level studies. The mathematics component of the UniReady Enabling Program may not satisfy the University’s mathematics entry requirements.
Course Organisation
Students complete the units required (for matriculation) for entry into some courses of study.
