| Syllabus: | This unit is comprised of a research based project that aims to ensure that the students have grasped a broad-based in areas of petroleum engineering and is able to apply the knowledge gained to solve real world problems. Students have to conduct research based activities on an approved topic under an academic supervisor assigned/approved by the project coordinator. The major will cover some aspects of oil and gas production and operation through literature survey, computer and/or laboratory studies. Each student is required to present a seminar as part of the requirements and submit a written thesis report. |
