Syllabus:

The social dynamics of learning environments. Examination of the social dynamics of groups and individuals within different learning settings. Communication as a vehicle for improving the social-psychological learning environment. Promoting a climate conductive to encouraging student engagement and empowering individuals. Application of teaching and learning processes to empower students. Practice classroom management, teaching strategies, lesson planning and evaluation procedures in line with promoting a learning environment which empowers students.
