Syllabus:

Introduction to descriptive statistics as well as the SPSS computer based statistical package. Selected topics covered include measurement, central tendency and variability, the normal distribution , z-scores, the t-test, one-way analysis of variance, bivariate correlation and regression, the chi-square tests and non-parametric alternatives.
