230205 v.4 Electronic Commerce Major

Introduction

This major focuses on the use, management, application and exploitation of computing and communications-based technologies that make up the so-called 'information superhighway' to facilitate or enable business processes - in particular those processes involving local, regional and global information exchange between individuals, and within and between groups or organisations. It prepares students for a career in electronic commerce, the most rapidly developing segment of the information systems and technology field.
