Syllabus: Development of competencies in the professional life of a physiotherapist including as industrial awards, legal issues, registration requirements, negotiation skills, marketing skills, understanding health care systems, costs of physiotherapy services and understanding quality issues in physiotherapy service provision. Industry experts augment the students' learning with case studies and interactive lecture sessions. Professional practice and self-reflection is encouraged through group work.
