Syllabus: Further development of basic physiotherapy competencies in the management of selected cardiopulmonary problems. Problems covered typically include dyspnoea, decreased exercise tolerance, respiratory muscle weakness and fatigue, airflow limitation, impaired gas exchange and impaired airway clearance. Aspects of cardiopulmonary problems covered include pathophysiology, assessment and management.
