Syllabus: Seven weeks of supervised professional practice in a "National Association of Testing Authorities" (NATA) accredited medical laboratory. Students will be placed in a major analytical area of the laboratory developing skills and competency in quality control and maintenance of laboratory equipment, data verification and validation, data interpretation and test reporting.
