Syllabus: To design and implement a research investigation into an urban and regional planning issue. Development of capacities for individual investigation - research and the solution of a planning problem. Development of abilities to identify a problem - undertake original empirical research, analyse data using appropriate quantitative and qualitative techniques, formulate recommendations and conclusions. This unit advances knowledge in some element(s) of planning and practically applies some technique(s) of planning.
