Syllabus:	Exploration of various broad approaches to the conduct of research in Indigenous contexts, including the positivist and interpretivie paradigms. Specifically, it examines scientific, Indigenous and other ways of knowing the world. Explores the ways in which the dominant scientific and experimental research method can devalue Indigenous people's knowledge and lived experiences. New and emergent approaches to research and their applicability to Indigenous contexts are explored.
