Syllabus: Professional role development of autonomy and accountability. Bioethics and nursing practice professional codes of conduct. Legal issues in nursing practice, professional rights and responsibilities in law. Scope of nursing practice - decision making framework (SONP-DMF) and evidence-based practice. Indicators of quality patient care. Communicating professionalism and professional resumes. Quality patient care and professional standards.
