Syllabus:	Local and general anaesthetics. Opioid analgesics and antagonists. Drugs affecting renal and cardiovascular function, thrombus function and lipoprotein metabolism. Drugs affecting gastrointestinal function and hormone systems. Critical evaluation of published clinical trials. Physiological pharmacokinetic models. Renal and hepatic disease. Clinical pharmacokinetics of specific drugs.
