Syllabus:	Role, limitations and implementation of primary health care systems in lower income countries and differing approaches. Primary health care treatment and prevention of morbidity, mortality and disability. Determinants of health in lower income countries,history of primary health care, health care of isolated and deprived groups and traditional and auxiliary health workers. Ethical issues in primary health care.
