303501 v.2 Internet Policy and Culture Stream (Mass Communication)


Introduction

This stream focuses on how the Internet works, how to use it, how it might be regulated and managed, and how the Internet is understood as a complex socio-cultural phenomenon and exploited as a virtual environment. Students learn basic web design. This stream provides students with a substantial level of skill and knowledge in understanding and managing Internet activities. The Internet Policy and Culture stream may usefully be combined with the Internet Design Stream.
