Syllabus: Mediation theory and practice. Understanding of models and procedures for counseling and behavior change. Application of theoretical perspectives to couples/relationship work, interpersonal conflict, conflict resolution and mediation in a variety of settings. Facilitative mediation process. An understanding of cultural factors in counseling and mediation.
