Syllabus: Primary care and the role of the pharmacist. The primary care (history and examination, diagnosis, management, and monitoring) of common ailments including sprains and strains, headache, sunburn, sore throats, coughs and colds, worms and infestations, dental problems, hay fever and rhinitis, and minor skin disorders including tinea, dry skin, and nappy rash. Care of the feet, contact lens and personal hygiene issues.
