Syllabus: Experience in the use and critique of ergonomics methods commonly used in the application of ergonomics. Practical tools such as task analysis, user trial, survey, biomechanical modelling and the 'Wizard of Oz' simulation will be used by students. Exploration of the practice of ergonomics in Australia and internationally and review of professional issues such as competency standards and course accreditation.
