Prerequisite(s): 303091 (v.3) Epidemiology 186 or any previous version
Syllabus: Introduction to epidemiological research designs, measurements of morbidity and mortality, reliability and validity, properties of rates and ratios, age standardisation procedures. A review of descriptive and analytical epidemiological studies, inference and causation. Basic descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, using SPSS software.
