Introduction

This major is specifically designed to meet the needs of managers and others involved in occupational health and safety. It is designed to advance knowledge, skills and techniques in the prevention of work related disease and injury with management of occupational health and safety. Students are provided with opportunities to specialise and undertake research in occupational health, occupational hygiene, safety and risk management, ergonomics, occupational medicine and other related areas. Those demonstrating excellence in research will have the opportunity to continue to doctoral studies.
