Introduction

This double degree major of contemporary art practice develops competence in conceptualising, observing and analysing visual information and developing this information into coherent visual images in a variety of media. The course is interdisciplinary innature and encourages consideration of the potential for incorporating conceptual and technical approaches from a variety of sources. Students focus creative work in a variety of disciplines, including fibre or textiles, print media, ceramics, sculpture,jewellery, three-dimensional design, computer imaging, photography, installation, performance, and audio-visual technologies.
