Introduction

This honours course extends knowledge or research as it applies to one of the science fields, and demonstrates this through undertaking a supervised research project and presenting a dissertation.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Refer to the Admission into Honours Degree Programs text in the General Information section of the Handbook. Only students with outstanding performance in undergraduate study will be considered for entry to the honours program. Candidates should inform the course coordinator of an intention to apply for entry to the honours program prior to or immediately after the conclusion of their undergraduate degree.

Duration and Availability

The course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
