Introduction

This course has been designed for professional logistic specialists who are interested in developing a career in logistics management and/or in logistics. Areas of study will relate to transportation, physical distribution, warehousing, material and inventory management, purchasing, manufacturing, location modelling, retailing and information system linkages for government and private industries on a national and global basis.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A degree in business, commerce, economics or other appropriate field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or equivalent qualification, plus two years relevant work experience.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee paying course is only available full-time over four semesters.

Intermediate Awards 1

A student who has successfully completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of Head of School/Department. Fees apply. Intermediate award(s) approved for this course are:

Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain, Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain.
