Syllabus:	Further develops and extends the skills acquired in the first semester, and develops the skills of academic english needed in tertiary education, so that students are able to research and write on topics that require discussion and development within an extended essay of 2000 words. Provides further opportunities to practice and enhance communication skills in the spoken and written language. Proficiency in listening and reading. Awareness of different study skills. Awareness of the different usages of English.
