Syllabus:

Feedforward and ratio control, cascade control, over ride control and selective control. Advanced control techniques - deadtime compensation, inferential control and adaptive control. Multi-input and output systems - process and control loop interactions, control loop pairings, decoupling control systems and multivariable control techniques. Digital control systems - Z transforms, discrete time models, closed loop analysis and digital control system implementation.
