Introduction

This computational mathematics minor is designed to give a student in the statistics major stream a well-rounded education in mathematics and statistics. In many real world problems, the need for computational skills requires a good knowledge of numerical techniques as well as techniques used in operations research. Expertise in both computational mathematics and statistics is often sought by employers.
