Introduction

This course is designed to extend theoretical knowledge and associated techniques in finance to a higher level. It is suitable for those who plan to pursue careers as finance specialists in both public and private sectors or in academia.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A degree or equivalent in commerce majoring in finance with a high course weighted average, honours degree in finance, Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (Economics and Finance), or completion of a Professional Master in Finance, or related field with an above average academic performance.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

The course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study.
