Syllabus: The movement toward corporate commitment and action for sustainable outcomes requires radical change throughout corporations. Organisations need to respond effectively to such change, with innovations in products and services, and indeed all aspects of management. Deals with organisational change and corporate strategy for sustainable business outcomes, which sustain both the business as well as the markets and societies it serves. An integrated approach to human and ecological sustainability is presented, and opportunities and constraints for incremental and transformational change reviewed. Special consideration is given to the application of business principles to environmental and sustainability management. Students attend a three hour lecture once every three weeks.
