Introduction

This bachelor graduate entry course provides an additional year of study in a specialised area of choice which is acceptable to agencies such as Agriculture Western Australia or agricultural consulting firms which often require a professional four-year degree in agriculture.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Completion of a three-year bachelor of agribusiness degree or an approved equivalent degree.

Duration and Availability

The course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Course Organisation

Studies in approved electives combined with additional studies in applied statistics, agribusiness project design and agribusiness project. The project may be of a research type or a literature review.

Professional Recognition

Eligible for professional level employment in agriculture in the State Public Service. Graduates are eligible for membership to the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science (AIAIS).

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials.
