Introduction

This course is designed for experienced teachers, educators or leaders who typically hold a minimum of a recognised undergraduate degree. It enables students to develop and enhance their knowledge and understanding of learning technologies and their application in the student's own teaching. Units address individual student needs so that the knowledge and understanding gained may be applied to professional practice.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A relevant first degree, teaching qualifications and/or teaching experience.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study. It is anticipated that most students will study on a part-time basis. All units are self directed and are taught entirely via the Internet and CD-ROMs in distance study mode.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials.
