Registered full-time Duration for International Onshore Students on student visas: 0.5 Years

Introduction

The course is designed for international students needing to develop their English language proficiency in order to meet Curtin's literacy requirement.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

This course is only available for international students with an English proficiency level of not less than IELTS band 5 in all four skill areas, or a TOEFL score of 520 or a CUTE D (in addition to the University's standard entry requirements).

Duration and Availability

This course is one semester full-time study. Due to legislative and immigration provisions part-time mode is not available to international students.

Course Organisation

Students undertake all four units over one semester.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials.
