Syllabus:

Introduction, cultivation, batch and continuous reactors, solid-state fermentations, Scale-up of bioreactors, instrumentation and control, sterilisation of process fluids, recovering and purifying products, integration of reaction and separation, structure and biochemistry of animal cells, products of animal cell cultures, Plant cells in culture, bioreactors for - suspension cultures;,and organised tissues, Influence of product on process design, choosing host-vector systems, genetic instability.
