Syllabus:

A continuation of the unit 303427 Design Photography (Introduction) 291 and is a core unit towards the BA (Design) Design Photography Major. The unit sets out to examine the theory and practice of photography with particular reference to its use in the Design/Media/Communication industries. The unit will facilitate a technical introduction to Medium Format Camera's and camera systems and RA4 Custom Colour printing. The unit also has a strong student centered focus towards the research and investigation of specialist areas of photographic enquiry.
