Syllabus:

The undertaking of a number of group initiated projects which will further explore issues such as the representation of Indigenous Australians, leading to the possibility for developing new modes of representation, social and political issues relating tocontemporary Aboriginal society and cultural concerns for contemporary Indigenous artists. Traditional techniques and approaches will be encouraged and a critique of various forms of representation will be undertaken. Forms of visual research and written and oral research as a basis for developing visual ideas will be investigated. A portfolio of work will be developed demonstrating competence in traditional and contemporary technologies and processes.
