Syllabus:

Overview of the work of the information sector and the various specialists tasks undertaken by information professionals. The use of computers and communication technologies to manage personal and professional information. It covers the basics of networked computing, evaluation of Internet resourses, database creation, data sharing and manipulation, image formats and multimedia, personal bibliograhic software, interactive use of the web computer security, ICT technologies and society.
