Syllabus:

Theory: The application of sampling theory, Fourier theory, correlation, convolution and filtering to geophysical data in the exploration industry. Laboratory: Introduction to matlab, temporal and spatial analysing, Fourier transformations, geophysical applications of correlation and convolution, filtering of data, interpolation and noise in geophysical data sets.
