Syllabus:

A comprehensive clinical laboratory study of haemopoiesis, cell metabolism, function, survival and procedures for the investigation of haematological disorders. A detailed study of normal and aberrant haemostasis, platelet function and clinical laboratory investigation of specific disorders. Blood group systems, laboratory investigation of clinically significant antibodies. Case studies. Utilisation, maintenance and calibration of related instrumentation.
