Syllabus:

This unit is designed for students who have passed TEE Chemistry. General chemistry involving ideal gases, thermochemistry and thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, colligative properties, reactions and properties of organic compounds containing common functional groups, reactions and properties of aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, isomerism. Experiments involving purification and separation techniques, reactions of functional groups and reactions of hydrocarbons.
