Syllabus:

International legislation controlling drug products - drug distribution systems. Introduction to Australian legislation and the role of the Commonwealth and State Departments of Health. Pharmaceutical practice - definition of practice, professionalism, code of ethics, literature resources for practice. Dispensing of prescriptions - quality of medicines, consumer medication information, drug utilisation review and social aspects of pharmacy practice.
