Drug use and dependence. The process of change. Theoretical models of intervention. Psychological pharmacological and self-help models of treatment and rehabilitation. Effectiveness of treatment. Working with significant others. Introduction to working with clients with comorbid drug and psychological problems. Applied skills development in relation to a number of treatment techniques.
