Syllabus:

Exploration of themes including - theories of Aboriginal origin, Aboriginal identity and diversity, the construction of Aboriginality, Aboriginal pre-history in social, cultural, economic, political and spiritual contexts. The impact of European invasion and nature of Aboriginal responses, government policies and their effects, and Aboriginal politics and political activism.
