Syllabus:

General principles of meetings - preparation, rules and laws, legality, public and private. Right of assembly, constitutions, standing orders, agendas, committees. The role of the secretary, the chairperson, notice, quorum, proxies, adjournment, rules ofdebate, voting, minutes, defamation. Law and procedure applicable to company meetings especially directors' meetings and general meetings.
