Syllabus:

This unit explores various types of research and introduces a range of relationships between research and creative production or academic work. Key topics include setting yourself in relation to the topic, converting your topic to a research question, defining the relationship between project and exegesis and setting the research pattern. The unit is taught through structured (though informal) seminars. Contact hours are for two hours for a period of eight weeks.
