An examination of the history, culture and religion of Central Asia, the role and place of Nomad society in the development of states and nations in Central Asia, interaction with Western Europe and Russia, Russia's colonial policy in the region, Kazakhstan and Eurasia, the Eurasian idea in the twenty first century.
